- Marta Domènech i Tomàs is Director of External Business and Services at Fira de Barcelona, one of Europe’s leading exhibition and congress organisers. In this role, she is responsible for developing commercial partnerships, international business opportunities, and services that support organisers, exhibitors and visitors across the venue’s major trade shows and events. Fira de Barcelona hosts more than 150 exhibitions and congresses each year, attracting exhibitors and participants from around the world. Prior to joining Fira de Barcelona, Marta held senior leadership roles in tourism and hospitality, including serving as Director General of Tourism for the Government of Catalonia and managing a family hospitality business in the Priorat region. Her career spans both public and private sectors, giving her a strong perspective on destination development, tourism strategy, and the global exhibitions industry.
