- Carina Montagut has degree in Tourism, in addition she completed her training with a Marketing and Commercial Management master and multiple courses that keep her up to date in her professional development. Being the last a Venue Digital Intrapreneurship program.
She began her professional career in the Tourism Industry, working at travel agencies, several hotels and camping’s in all type of positions and has been involved in the MICE sector since 2002. Since then, she is part of the staff of Feria Valencia, where she has held different positions, Carina began at the commercial department, going through the Investment & development office and the events team, helping her all this to become the Strategical Events Manager, and subsequently Carina was promoted to the Director of the Events Department position at Feria Valencia. We cannot forget to mention also the interesting professional background that she has developed as a Postgraduate teacher, conference Speaker, Round table moderator and a long etc, including volunteering abroad in her holidays!
Carina has grown professionally by being an active association member. Since 2014, she has been part of the ICCA Iberian Chapter Executive Committee and since 2019 she manages the Iberian Chapter Secretariat. From November 2022 She is a member of the International Board of Directors of ICCA as venue representative.
Carina has a lot of passion & enthusiasm and is always involved in everything. All her energy and motivation make her believe in constant improvement.
