- Katerina was born and raised in Thessaloniki, where she lives with her family. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Informatics from the University of Macedonia and a Master’s degree in Tourism Business Administration from the International Hellenic University. She is currently pursuing a second Bachelor’s degree in International and European Studies at the University of Macedonia.
She has actively engaged in continuous professional development, participating in a wide range of seminars and training programs in management, emerging technologies, marketing and international relations management. She is also certified in Project Leadership by Cornell University in New York and a Research Associate at TourLab, the Research Laboratory for Tourism and Services Management at the International Hellenic University.
Her career in exhibitions and event management began during her internship at Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), where she gained valuable experience in exhibitor support and communication coordination for regional trade shows. She has also held roles as an IT instructor and worked in customer service across both the public and private sectors.
Since 2013 she has played a central role in organizing several of Greece’s prominent trade fairs, including Infacoma, Aquatherm, Greek Travel Show and Philoxenia, organized by TIF – HELEXPO. She has also been responsible for managing group participations of Greek tourism businesses in international exhibitions abroad.
She currently serves as the Exhibition Manager of Philoxenia Hotelia, Greece’s leading international tourism fair, which is preparing for its 40th edition in November 2025. In addition, she holds the role of Honored Country Project Manager for TIF HELEXPO’s flagship event, Thessaloniki International Fair, where she oversees strategic partnerships with foreign governments and institutions as part of the company’s international relations strategy.
